Our client is looking for a strong and dynamic Production Supervisor for this plant role.

Reporting to the Production Manager, this role will lead a team of 25 – 50 employee’s on shift, with responsibility for yields, volume, labor and material costs. Also, this role be focused on quality and training of employees on both quality standards and procedures. Full responsibility for payroll, attendance records, performance evaluations, discipline and leadership of staff. This is a unionized environment and maintaining a positive employee relations environment is essential.

Post secondary education required with experience in a team focused environment as well excellent communication skills. Ability to demonstrate a sound understanding of the principles of HACCP, GMPs, SOPs and the Occupational Health & Safety Act are important.
